| SpCrossreactivity | The nRNP antigen, used for coating ELISA plates, has been purified from calf and/or rabbit thymus cytosol through a combination of immunoaffinity chromatography (anti-nRNP-Sepharose) and other biochemical techniques. The purified preparation does not contain any detectable SS-A, SS-B, Scl-70, and Jo-1 antigens by sensitive ELISA technique. This kit detects anti-nRNP Ig's (IgG+A+M) in mouse serum. It is possible to use isotype specific anti-mouse Ig, such as anti-mouse IgM or anti-mouse IgG1-HRP, to measure isotype specific antibodies. |
